ANNE Hathaway is setting a clear boundary when it comes to speculation about her youthful appearance.
In a new Harper’s Bazaar interview, the Oscar winner said she does not want to discuss “medical information” after being asked about ongoing rumours surrounding possible cosmetic procedures.
The 43-year-old actress, who is currently promoting The Devil Wears Prada 2, instead pointed to lifestyle choices and skincare as part of her routine, including giving up alcohol and using Shiseido products, a brand she represents.
Hathaway has faced repeated online chatter about whether she has had a facelift or other cosmetic work, especially after recent red carpet appearances sparked renewed fan speculation. But the actress has consistently kept her private health matters off-limits.
She has previously called questions about surgery “an extremely intimate question,” while also making it clear she does not judge others for whatever choices help them feel confident.
In the new interview, Hathaway also opened up about aging and body image, sharing that she has learned to appreciate where she is in life now.
She said she feels happier in her 40s and challenged the idea that youth is automatically the best chapter of life.
