ALEC Baldwin is reportedly running on empty as he shoulders the bulk of childcare for his seven children following the Rust tragedy that still haunts him.
The 68-year-old actor has stepped back from Hollywood to focus on family life with wife Hilaria, who juggles her own busy schedule.
“Alec has been running on empty for years,” a source revealed to Radar Online, adding he takes on most of the childminding to give Hilaria space for her projects.
The couple’s reluctance to rely on nannies means Baldwin’s days are packed from morning till night, leaving him looking like an “exhausted zombie” with constant bags under his eyes.
Insiders say the toll of the fatal 2021 Rust shooting, where cinematographer Halyna Hutchins tragically died, still hangs heavily over Alec.
He was indicted for involuntary manslaughter, though the case was later dismissed, but the weight of the incident continues to affect his health and spirit.
