ALAN Carr has been thrown into chaos after workmen uncovered a massive fatberg blocking the sewers beneath his multi-million pound London home.
The Celebrity Traitors winner, 49, revealed the shocking discovery on his Bottoms Up! podcast, admitting the council had contacted him over the crisis.
“Council have been in touch. There’s a fatberg under my house . . . which is blocking up the pipe,” Carr said.
The TV funnyman is baffled and furious, blaming mysterious wet wipes being flushed down his toilets.
“Someone’s been putting wet wipes down my toilet,” he said. “I don’t know who it is.
“I don’t have wet wipes in my house so they’re bringing them in.”
Alan warned he might have to conduct a “stop and search” for visitors to catch the culprit.
The fatberg is costing him a fortune and dragging down the whole row of houses nearby.
Carr’s sewer nightmare is the latest blow as he prepares to move into his sprawling Scottish baronial castle, Ayton Castle, with plans to turn it into a luxury hotel and spa.
The extravagant renovation will be filmed by Disney+ after he signed a lucrative deal, but the fatberg scandal has already cast a shadow over his lavish lifestyle.
