ADAM LEVINE is shaking up The Voice once again as he storms back for Season 30 after his contestant Alexia Jayy snatched the crown.
The Maroon 5 frontman, who coached the first 16 seasons before stepping away, confirmed his return on the very night Jayy triumphed, according to Deadline.
Jayy’s powerhouse rendition of “(You Make Me Feel Like) a Natural Woman” blew the coaches away, with Levine calling her the “best voice in the competition.”
She had all three coaches turning their chairs, but chose Levine, sparking immediate pressure on the star to deliver another hit season.
Levine’s previous winners include Season 1’s Javier Colon, Season 5’s Tessanne Chin, and Season 9’s Jordan Smith, setting sky-high expectations.
After a brief hiatus focusing on music, Levine’s comeback in Season 27 was met with mixed reactions, making this return a high-stakes gamble.
So far, Levine is the only coach confirmed for the next season, adding to the swirl of speculation about the show’s future lineup.
